Life often places us in situations that leave us feeling stuck—whether it’s due to a failure, a long healing process, or the weight of negative experiences. In such moments, passivity can feel like a safe option. We retreat into the shadows, clinging to a sense of stability but disconnecting from our true power.

Without realizing it, we become trapped in a state of "uncomfortable comfort", a zone where we’re neither suffering nor growing. This is where the third chakra, Manipura, comes into play. Located in the solar plexus, it is the center of our energy and dynamism.

The Inner Warrior: Tapping Into Manipura’s Power

Manipura represents our Yang energy—the driving force behind our physical and emotional strength. In Chinese tradition, the solar plexus was regarded as the seat of the "great warrior," the place where courage and determination rise to break free from inertia and move forward.


Within each of us, two archetypes of the warrior exist:

  1. The Dark Warrior: Resentful, impulsive, and aggressive, this archetype uses strength destructively—either as a reaction to frustration or in defense against perceived injustices.
  2. The White Warrior: Wise and self-aware, this archetype wields power to set healthy boundaries and act justly. The white warrior is kind yet firm, capable of transforming adversity into opportunity, and turning enemies into allies through integrity and strong values.

  • Sit comfortably with your back straight.
  • Close your eyes and visualize a golden flame in your solar plexus.
  • With every inhale, imagine the flame growing brighter, filling you with strength, confidence, and determination.
  • Repeat affirmations such as:
  • "I trust in my power."
  • "I am capable of overcoming any challenge."

2. The Warrior's Journal

  • At the end of each day, write down one small victory or challenge you faced.
  • Reflect: Did you act from the Dark Warrior or the White Warrior?
  • Set a clear intention to embody the White Warrior in tomorrow’s actions.

3. Power Pose Practice

  • Stand tall with your hands on your hips, chest out, and hold this strong posture for 2 minutes.
  • Feel your body activating your inner strength.
  • Practice this pose before tackling challenges or making important decisions.

4. Break the Inertia

  • Identify one task you’ve been postponing, and commit to taking the first step today. No matter how small, the key is to break through the inertia.
